The Angel Outreach strengthens children and youth with special needs and those who are “at risk” so they can reach their full potential and make the world a better place.

ANGEL HOMES are provided at no cost for children and young families with special needs. The homes have been fully upfitted and are being used by program partners who provide support for the residents.

FOOD DISTRIBUTION – We provide tens of thousands of food items per year for distribution through established churches, shelters  and feeding programs across our community.

Founder Winfred Nakyazze, a dual citizen of the USA and Uganda, launched The Angel Outreach (TAO) in 2016 to serve children and families with special needs. The first services were launched in 2016 to serve street children in Kampala, Uganda. Winfred is well connected with leadership as well as “boots on the ground” resources, enabling TAO to ensure efficient, effective use of resources. Truckloads of medical supplies and clothing have helped thousands of children. Housing, schooling and individualized support is available to children through TAO’s child sponsorship program. A few years after the launch of TAO, friends and colleagues suggested, TAO began accepting donations in the Carolinas to help children in our local community. TAO began food initiatives quickly and now offers housing for children and families with special needs as well.
